Overview

Shanggang Community belongs to Honglan Subdistrict and is a residents' committee. The district government's administrative divisions page gives Honglan Subdistrict eight residents' committees, of which Shanggang is one; the others are Honglan, Sanliting, Tianshengqiao, Xiwang, Wuxiangsi, Fujiabian and Putang.

Traditional villages within it

The message carried on the Nanjing municipal government website on 22 August 2025 records that 70 villages were named in the eighth batch of traditional villages of Jiangsu, five of them in Nanjing, among them "Shangzhuang, Shanggang Community, Honglan Subdistrict, Lishui District". A notice-period report by the district media centre on 14 July 2025 says Shangzhuang "had already formed a village by the Ming dynasty".

  • Shangzhuang and Shanggang Community have separate entries: Shangzhuang as a settlement, this one as the community.
