Zhangjia Village

Traditional village listing

The list reprinted on the provincial housing department's website on 23 March 2023 records that the Jiangsu section of the sixth batch of Chinese traditional villages includes "Zhangjia Village, Hefeng Town, Lishui District, Nanjing". The batch was published by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments on 20 March 2023.

A district government reply of November 2025, giving figures to the end of 2024, records that Hefeng Town "has 1 national-level traditional village and 3 provincial-level traditional villages"; the national-level one is this village.

Relation to the settlement within it

Zhujia, within Zhangjia Village, entered the first batch of traditional villages of Jiangsu in April 2020; the same town also has two provincial traditional villages, Luoshan and Yangjia Village in Sunjiaxiang. The administrative village and the settlement within it have separate entries.

• The date of founding, the origin of the name and surviving structures of Zhangjia Village are not recorded in the sources held here.
• The district reply does not name the national-level traditional village. Matching it to this village rests on the published list and on the count of one; any citation must say so.
