Same name, different seat

Administrative history

In July 2015 the provincial government approved the abolition of Zhetang Town and the establishment of the Zhetang Subdistrict office over the same area, the office sitting at No. 8 Tuanshan West Road; the reply was issued on 15 July 2015. The subdistrict's area is that of the former town, unchanged.
