Administrative history

In May 2018 the provincial government approved the abolition of Dongping Town and the establishment of Dongping Subdistrict, its office within Fangbian residents' committee; the approval was issued on 15 May 2018.

The approval defined the subdistrict's jurisdiction as six residents' committees, Fangbian, Xuxi, Changle, Dinghu, Jinhu and Qunli, and six villagers' committees, Ailian, Aimin, Heping, Lishan, Bailu and Jingshan. The administrative divisions page now lists five and five. The two accounts differ by Qunli residents' committee and Jingshan villagers' committee, indicating a later adjustment whose date and document are not held in this library.
